MASTERCLASS: TV Writing 101- Writing Episodic Television

This 5-day intensive Masterclass is designed to teach writers, directors, and producers the creative, practical, and collaborative skills necessary to write episodic television on an international stage.

Whether you want to write acclaimed dramas like This Is Us and Game of Thrones, or hilarious comedies like Modern Family and The Big Bang Theory, this Masterclass gives you all the tools you need to succeed as a professional TV writer.

TV, after all, is written unlike any other medium on Earth. It not only uses unique storytelling processes and techniques, it’s written by a staff: a team of writers working together to architect seasons, “break” stories, craft outlines, and write scripts.

This Masterclass not only takes the participants through the process of writing an episode for a current TV show, it teaches them how to organise and manage a staff of writers. At the end of the masterclass, participants will be ready to help take Singaporean TV to the next level: running shows that can compete alongside hits like The Walking Dead and The Goldbergs.
