The usage of data will be part of the evaluation criteria for all pitches submitted to Mediacorp for the PCFS.

Topics:

  • Introduction to use of data in content development process
  • Understanding audience viewership
  • Understanding data and trends
  • Introduction to data and research
  • Online/social media research: tools to make data-driven decisions
  • Social monitoring versus social listening

At the end of every segment, participants will be divided into groups for discussions and hands-on exercises to reinforce the key learning points.

The workshop will conclude with a mock pitch session where participants will present their concepts to a panel comprising the course trainers and Mediacorp Commissioners.
